Default Halloween hats

I did a search but didn't find anything (move if needed).

My problem is that I have not been able to be on Guild Wars during this halloween due to moving and changing ISP..
And so I want to ask if the halloween hats will be available later for those who missed halloween? (I'm pretty sure they've done this at the Dragon Festival before) so I really hope they will do it again.

Otherwise I'll just go q_q somewhere..

Thanks a lot!

The only time that hats/masks have been available again is when they need to repeat a festival due to problems at their end. Regretfully, no masks for you this year.

Can I throw in my usual comment here about having game festivals during traditional holidays/festivals isn't a great idea.

All they really need to do is either begin or end the festivals on the festival date then have the getting the hat part not on the holiday date.

Its unfortunate that everyone with friends or an actual life has to make the decision go to party, visit family or get a hat in a computer game.

If you feel you cannot change the date then simply have the Hat obtainable by either being in the game on Halloween or by collecting items or doing missions etc.

How hard is it to leave your computer on and in the appropriate town?

I even managed to move my toon to the other town sometime during the day to obtain the other hat.

It was sooooooo hard.

People travelling who have a desktop.
People who have a laptop but no internet at home on Christmas. Etc.

Quite a few people, actually. Not to mention family who would accidentally x out or restart the computer, etc.

Yes but at the moment only Johnny no friends can enjoy some of the festivals in their entirety.
What is so wrong about having fictional festivals at a time outside of traditional holidays.

Not asking them to be longer or at a radically different time just make sure that players have a chance to get the necessary items and gain the reward on a day other than the main holiday date itself.

Question has been answered and so I'm closing this thread, as this is not the place to discuss the timing of festivals or harass people about "oh, just leave your computer turned on".

Thread Closed.
